About Me
I am an organizational behavior researcher.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
My research coalesces around two major streams. The fairness stream explores why, despite fairness being recognized as moral and desirable in the workplace, managers often act in ways that are perceived as unfair by employees. The voice and feedback stream explores why managers often resist soliciting employees’ input and how managers’ attitudes and behaviors may discourage employees from speaking up with ideas, opinions, or concerns.
My work has been published in leading management and psychology journals including Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Journal of Organizational Behavior.
My work has also been highlighted by publications such as Harvard Business Review, HR People + Strategy, I/O at work.
